Knowledge truly is power. And for thousands of women in Pennsylvania, knowledge can be life-saving. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at a late-stage because dense breast tissue was masking the tumor on my mammogram.
Fast forward more than 20 years and breast density confusion is still an issue women face. Because of our recent legislation, mammography centers are now required to notify women of their breast density.
Will you help us to ensure women have the knowledge they need? The PBCC has developed a short survey for women who have received a mammogram since February 2014. Click here to take the survey. Take action. Save lives. Pat Halpin-Murphy
