About PBCC

The PA Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) was formed in 1993 by a dedicated, active and effective group of breast cancer survivors who had one common mission: to find a cure for breast cancer. Every program, event and campaign is carried out with that goal in mind. Today, we are the source of action and information for Pennsylvania women with breast cancer and their families.

Help us on our mission of finding a cure now… so our daughters don’t have to.

The PBCC advocates for the over 14,000 women in Pennsylvania who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year and serves as a resource for the hundreds of thousands more women currently living with the disease.

What We Do

By providing personalized patient advocacy, educational programming and community support, the PA Breast Cancer Coalition ensures that no woman fights alone. We accomplish this through statewide educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants.

Patient Advocacy

Personalized Patient Advocacy

The PBCC’s Patient Advocate serves as a resource to listen, answer questions and connect individuals with resources and support they need- every step of the way.

Educational Programming

Knowledge is power in the fight against breast cancer. The PBCC shares the latest information, tools and resources all designed to inspire, empower and to turn education into action.

Breast Cancer Research Initiative

Each year, the PBCC invests in hope by funding groundbreaking breast cancer research in Pennsylvania. These grants support researchers working to bring us one step closer to finding a cure.

Free Care Packages

Free Friends Like Me™ Care Packages offer comfort, resources and encouragement to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients across Pennsylvania.
