Volunteer
In 2010, over 200 volunteers signed up and helped out at all eleven home run derby events. We simply could not do it without you!
This year we need outfield shaggers galore.
Outfield Shaggers enjoy being out in the sun, want the chance to experience being on a minor league baseball field, don't mind being on their feet, but don't need to be able to catch or throw a ball! This might be a fun family activity to do with your kids.
• Collect balls hit into the outfield and infield once they have landed and rolled to a stop
• Carry or toss balls to a bucket by second base
• Signal when a ball hits the outfield wall
Approximate timing is 8am-2pm. Times may vary and will be finalized closer to the event date. You will be notified by email with more details.
