Sen. Casey, PBCC Fight for Pre-existing Conditions Protections

There is a critical issue on the line in our country… again. If the U.S. Supreme Court votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act, known to many as Obamacare, millions of people with pre-existing conditions including hundreds of thousands of people in Pennsylvania could lose their healthcare coverage. That includes women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, a pre-existing condition. U.S. Sen. Bob Casey has led the fight to protect insurance coverage for people with pre-existing conditions like breast cancer. He spoke with PBCC President and Founder Pat Halpin-Murphy and Randall Oyer, MD, Medical Director of the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute at Lancaster General Health during a recent virtual press conference. Click on the link below for clips from the event.
