Senate Bill 8

Senator Kim Ward (President Pro Tempore, R-Westmoreland), Senator Devlin Robinson (R-Allegheny) and Senator Tracy Pennycuick (R-Montgomery) introduced legislation to eliminate out-of-pocket costs for genetic testing and supplemental screenings like breast MRI and ultrasound for Pennsylvanians at high-risk for breast and ovarian cancer. This bill will allow women to make informed decisions about their health – without worrying about the cost of tests and screenings that could save their lives.
