Pink Ribbon Awardee: Andrea Mitchell

The PA Breast Cancer Coalition is thrilled to announce a Pink Ribbon Awardee for the 2020 Virtual Conference: Andrea Mitchell. Mitchell is the NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent,  Host of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” and a breast cancer survivor.

Mitchell received her B.A. degree in English literature from the University of Pennsylvania where she is a past vice chair of the Board of Trustees and currently serves as chair of the Board of Overseers of the School of Arts and Sciences. She was elected a Distinguished Daughter of PA.

Our 2020 Pink Ribbon Awardee has covered presidents, world leaders, Congress, campaigns and many conflicts. She has reported all over the world from North Korea, Afghanistan, the Middle East, Bosnia, Kosovo, Pakistan and Haiti.

Mitchell is a breast cancer survivor and a longtime supporter of nationwide efforts to promote early detection. We hope you will join us Friday, October 16 in honoring Andrea Mitchell, 2020 PA Breast Cancer Coalition Conference Pink Ribbon Awardee!
