Coatesville, PA-- The Flying Colors Art Group
is holding its annual art show to benefit the
Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC) October
26 and 27 at the Montgomery School in Chester
Springs. The event begins with a gala opening
reception Friday October 25 from 7 to 10 PM.
Reservations are required for the opening reception
and a $10 donation will be collected at the door.
The opening night entrance fee donation and the
total sales of designated original artwork by
Flying Colors members are being donated to the
Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. To make

"We are grateful for the local support
from The Flying Colors Art Group," said Charlotte
Asherman, PBCC Executive Director and Coatesville
resident. "Our mission is to find a cure
for breast cancer now…so our daughters won't
have to. This event is a wonderful way to have
fun and helps the PBCC continue to provide action
and information to women and their families."
Featured Chester County artists include: Ruth
Biles, April D'Angelo, Cheryl Decker-Sauder, Whitney
Denman, Linda Killingsworth, Irene McFadden, Pam
McKee, Mary McQuinn, Maureen Mesher, Dottie Muccilli,
Elise Phillips, Montana Pino, Lisa Prinzo, Nicola
Soricelli, Kelley Stanford, Susan Styer, Lin Webber,
Merilee Ward and Connie Worth.
Flying Colors artists meet weekly to paint and
are providing an extensive selection of watercolors,
pastels, colored pencil works of local historic
buildings, animals, landscapes, seascapes, portraits,
detailed florals along with some contemporary
work.
The Montgomery School is located on Route 113
just north of the intersection of Route 100 and
Route 113 in Chester Springs Chester County.
