13thAnnual Fresh Burst Listerine Run Raises $13,500 to Support Breast Cancer

Lititz, PA - The Fresh Burst Race Committee is pleased to announce the donation of $13,500 to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. The donation represents 100% of the registration fee for this event held annually in July. The Fresh Burst Committee, as well as the majority of volunteers for the event, are employees from McNeil Consumer HealthCare, PPC-INC. and Johnson and Johnson Sales and Logistics Company co-located in Lititz PA, as well as members of the Medifit, who manage the site’s fitness facility.

The Fresh Burst race is held annually to support community needs. Since 1994, the "Fresh Burst Run," has raised more than $210,000 to benefit local non-profit organizations including, S. June Smith Center, Milagro House, Her Hearts Wish and the PA Breast Cancer Coalition. Since the race began 13 years ago, nearly 7,000 people have participated and what began as a local event, now attracts runners from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey, while still keeping its hometown appeal.

The PA Breast Cancer Coalition supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and unique outreach initiatives. The PBCC is a statewide, non-profit organization that creates the hope of a brighter tomorrow by providing action and information to women with breast cancer today. Their office is located in Ephrata, PA.
