You Can be A Driving Force In The Fight Against Breast Cancer With A Pink Ribbon License Plate From Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition

Plates cost a one time fee of $32.50

EPHRATA, Pa.The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition is urging Pennsylvania motorists to join the driving force against breast cancer and purchase an official pink ribbon license plate to help spread the message of breast cancer awareness across all corners of the state and beyond. For just $32.50, motorists can purchase the plate and take the message of breast cancer awareness with them wherever they go. The pink ribbon plate is an official Pennsylvania license plate, and would replace the plate currently on the vehicle. Since it was first made available, over 1,700 license plates have been issued to PA motorists.

This license plate, which features a pink ribbon on the left side, is available through the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition for $32.50. Ten dollars of the fee will go to the PBCC to help fund their programs and initiatives. PennDOT will not accept any applications that come directly from individuals – all orders must be first processed by the PBCC.

“These license plates have helped us take the message of breast cancer awareness on the road with us. They are constant reminders of the ongoing fight against breast cancer and our commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer now…so our daughters and granddaughters won’t have to,” said Pat Halpin-Murphy, president and founder of the PBCC.

To order a Breast Cancer Awareness license plate and to view a photo of what the plate looks like, please visit www.pabreastcancer.org/license.html and download the application or contact Kim at 717-738-9567 x104 to have one mailed to you. Please do not contact PennDOT.
