Representative Jere Strittmatter to Recognize PBCC Efforts
Ephrata, Pa--- On Wednesday November 6 th at 4:00 pm Vincent & Company Fine Jewelers will celebrate their grand opening in the Lancaster Shopping Center with a pink ribbon cutting ceremony and donation presentation to benefit the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC). The public is invited to attend.
The ceremony will feature Representative Jere Strittmatter and Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition President and Founder, Pat Halpin-Murphy, along with Vincent & Company Owners, Vincent and Lynnette Spadea. Vincent & Company Fine Jewelers will present the PBCC with a donation in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Vincent & Company Fine Jewelers is located at 1633 Lititz Pike in the Lancaster Shopping Center and is owned an operated by Vincent and Lynnette Spadea. Vincent Spadea was born and raised in Lancaster and after more than 30 years of corporate life he decided to come back to the area to start his business. He has been well known in the jewelry industry for over 32 years and spent many years as a key executive with one of the nation’s largest jewelry chains.
“The money from this thoughtful donation will enable us to continue our programs in the areas of education, advocacy, research and outreach for women and families in Lancaster County and throughout Pennsylvania,” said Pat Halpin-Murphy, PBCC President and Founder. “Without the help of individuals in the community we could not further our mission of finding a cure now… so our daughters won’t have to.”
The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition, founded in 1993, is a non-profit organization. It serves each of the state's 67 counties though programs such as the Income Tax Check Off program, Mother's Day Mammograms®, the Keystone Breast Cancer Conference and "67 Women, 67 Counties: Facing Breast Cancer in Pennsylvania” and the online virtual support group Friends Like Me.
