December 2007
As this year draws to a close,
there are a lot of exciting new beginnings ahead for
the PBCC. In recent months, it has become obvious
to us that we need to move our office. We are
situated in a residential part of town that has
dramatically deteriorated in recent years. It is
time to move onward and upward!
Mr. William Donecker has been
our landlord for the past ten years, and we
appreciate and are thankful for all he has done for
us. It has been wonderful being part of the
Doneckers community. And it should not go without
saying, that in those ten years, we never once paid
for electricity or heat. And we were getting
a great deal on the square footage rate. Thank you
Mr. Donecker!
So while it is necessary that
we move, I have been wondering how we are going to
afford our newer, much safer, space. Enter Ted
Williams. Ted’s wife was recently diagnosed with
breast cancer, and is currently undergoing
treatment. She received one of our
Friends Like Me care
packages, and they both attended our
conference in October. Ted
is a Senior Financial Advisor at Ameriprise
Financial in Lancaster County and, to use his words,
was looking for a cause to champion. He reached
deep into his pockets and is giving us a generous
donation that will cover our increase in rent at the
new office! He is our office guardian angel!
It is people like Ted, who
truly allow us to continue serving the women of this
state with breast cancer. Please take a moment to
thank him by calling him at 717-431-0522 or by
emailing him at
theodore.p.williams@ampf.com. He would love to
hear from you.
Sincerely,
Heather Hibshman
