The 4th of July! Summer’s really here now. My co-worker and I were lamenting this week about how we must be officially old now, because when our parents used to say “I can’t believe it’s July 4th already!” we thought they were absolutely crazy. “Time flies”, they would say and again, we thought they were crazy.
But now, somehow, I find myself agreeing. Does that make me crazy or just old? Either way, there’s no doubt about it. Time does fly, especially around here at the PBCC offices.
July brings with it three unique events to benefit us. First is the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail July 8 and 9. Nine wineries in the Lehigh Valley are banding together for a “Drink Pink” weekend. Each winery is donating $1 from the sale of each bottle of pink wine. Then comes the “Reveal” interactive installation art show in Harrisburg July 14 and the State College Spikes baseball game on July 15. We are more than happy to jump in the van and hit the highway to have a presence at these events. It is important to the organizer, and it is important to us.
