January 2006
I resolve to not talk about resolutions this year! Instead, let’s talk about real, achievable actions and goals. The PBCC had quite a busy year this past year, and because of that, there are many opportunities for you to get involved.
If you haven’t already gotten your pink ribbon license plate, what are you waiting for? My goal is for our breast cancer awareness plate to be the most popular, best selling plate in all of PA. I want to see them on the turnpike, Route 81, the Schuylkill Expressway, and every road in between. For $32.50, you can spread the message of hope wherever you go. Click here to help be a driving force in the fight against breast cancer.
Do you know a newly-diagnosed woman who is battling not only the disease, but her insurance company or her employer? If so, the PBCC’s new book “Breast Cancer: Covered or Not?” can help her understand these often complex issues. At only $5 plus tax, why don’t you get one for a friend and help to ease her mind? Click here to order today.
As we enter another new year, millions of people will make promises to themselves they won’t keep. Well I’ve got an easy one for you. Why don’t you promise to make life better for one breast cancer survivor? If you know a survivor, why not make a donation in their name? If you meet one this year or this month, why not ask if they could use any of our resources? If you are a survivor, God bless you. May you have the happiest of new years.
Sincerely,
Heather Hibshman
Executive Director
