“I shall miss her more than I ever thought.
I had so much more to say to her.”
This is what one woman said about her friend and fellow support group member, after her friend died rather suddenly from breast cancer complications.
What a beautiful lesson we can all learn from such a heartbreaking loss. Let us live our lives so that we never have to say those words. Have no regrets. Say and do what you’ve been reluctant to say and do, because you might not get the chance again.
Don’t we take life’s moments for granted all too often? Talk to just one breast cancer survivor, and you won’t.
Breast cancer survivors are a gift to us who have not been personally touched with the disease. A daily reminder to appreciate each day. Thank you for that.
