What an exciting time at the PA Breast Cancer Coalition! If you haven’t seen them yet, we now have breast cancer awareness license plates available to the public. We are so proud of this endeavor, and look forward to reaching a whole new audience with our message of hope.
There is no doubt that pink ribbons are everywhere: clothing, jewelry, mugs, note cards, teddy bears, ornaments…the list is endless. But I feel strongly that until there is a cure and prevention for breast cancer and the last lone survivor has walked the earth, the pink ribbon still serves a purpose.
For those who aren’t in this business everyday, the pink ribbon is an occasional, sporadic reminder that there is a disease called breast cancer. But for those of us in the trenches, the pink ribbon reminds us of the long road people walk as they face this disease; of the work being done in the labs to take us closer to a cure; of loved ones who have gone before us fighting for better treatment and awareness of this disease; and of the courage, hope and dignity of all those living with breast cancer today.
Show your support for all of them, for the work of the PBCC, and for continued innovative breast cancer awareness efforts. Be one of the first to get your breast cancer awareness license plate for only $32.50. Click here today. I’ve already ordered mine.
