"Where
does my money go?"
PBCC Fund Usage

The PBCC is incorporated as a 501(c)3
in order to provide tax incentives to its contributors.
Better Business Bureau standards require charities
to spend at least 50 % of all contributions on
their stated causes. More than 80% of all donations
to the PBCC go toward providing breast cancer
education and outreach.

The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition is dedicated
to finding a cure for breast cancer so our daughters
and granddaughters won't ever have to struggle with
this disease. It will take the resources of every
person to reach that goal. Together, we will find
a cure.

through their specific workplace campaigns
including the Combined Federal Campaign

City of Philadelphia Employees Combined Campaign
(ID# 14-0033).

Gift Program or participate in Community Health
Charities. Please consult your directory
for our designation number. If you don't find us,
ask your employer to add our name.

GoodSearch: Now you can raise money for the PBCC just by searching the Internet at GoodSearch.com.
You use GoodSearch.com like any other search engine - the site is powered by Yahoo! - but each time you do, money is generated for us. Here’s how it works:
1. Go to www.goodsearch.com
2. Type PBCC into the “I support” box and click on “verify”
3. Since GoodSearch shares its advertising revenue with charities and schools, every time you search the web at GoodSearch, you’ll be earning money for us.
GoodSearch also has a toolbar you can download from the homepage so that you can search right from the top of your browser. You can keep track of our estimated earnings by clicking on “amount raised” once you designate us as your organization of choice. The more people who use the site, the more money we’ll earn, so please spread the word!!
Planned
Giving/Charitable Trusts/Bequests: To
discuss these giving options, please contact
Tricia Grove at 717-721-2580 x105 or
1-800-377-8828x105. You may wish to
consult your attorney for the tax benefits of
these types of gifts.

eBay Giving Works:
Are you a seller on eBay? Did you know you can sell items for charity? Click the link above to view the PBCC's page on MissionFish and click "Sell on Behalf of This Nonprofit". Next, sign in or click "Register to Sell" and follow the steps. Then select a percentage of the total value of the auction to donate. Complete your item listing and wait for the PBCC to accept it. Once we do, the item goes up for sale on eBay with a Giving Works icon. When the listing ends, the buyer pays you and you ship the item to the buyer, just as usual. Then you pay their donation to MissionFish, which distributes it to the PBCC and sends you a receipt. It’s easy!
Wedding Favors:
Are you, or a family member,
getting married soon? Would your guests
appreciate knowing that you gave a donation to the
PBCC in their honor, instead of spending hundreds
of dollars on wedding favors? For a
donation, we can offer you small cards, which
contain PBCC info and a peel-off pink ribbon
sticker your guests can wear during the
reception. You tell us how many guests
you're expecting, and we'll send that many
cards. These cards cost us approximately 50
cents each, so we hope that the donation would at
least cover our cost. Honor your guests with
a donation to help fight breast cancer!
