Come show your support for local families dealing with breast cancer. Volunteer to "shave your melon" or cut your hair for donation to Locks of Love. Hempfield Area Recreation Commission's Dan Cless, Fitness Department, will have his head shaved by Traci Gaito, their Program Director. Dan will then pick up the scissors and give Traci a new "DEW" in return. Not up for a haircut? You can offer your support by sponsoring those who are by signing the donation pledge list located in the lobby. There will be watermelon and hotdogs, and fun events for the kids including shaving watermelons. Proceeds from food sales, t-shirt sales, and local vendors will be donated to the PBCC. This event is free but pre-registration is recommended for those cutting their hair. |
