Executive Director
Heather was the first PBCC paid employee back in
1994. She started on a part-time basis,
which quickly became much more than
full-time. She started out doing everything
from writing press releases to paying the bills
and balancing the checkbook. She was willing
to do anything and everything. In 2000,
Heather became the Program Director, overseeing
all of the PBCC's statewide programming.
Then in 2004, she became the Executive
Director. In this role, some of the things
she does are supervise the staff, manage the
operating budget, and maintain communication with
the PBCC's Board of Directors, volunteers and
donors. Her job is never boring and always
rewarding and exciting. She can't imagine
doing anything else.

Favorite Author or Book: |
I wouldn't say I
have an all-time favorite book, but two
recent favorites are Skinny Dip by
Carl Hiaason and Under the Tuscan Sun
by Frances Mayes. |
| Favorite Sport or Team: |
I don't watch or
follow sports on TV. Sorry sports
fans! My favorite sporting events are
ones that benefit the PBCC like Rob Ziemba's
charity ice hockey game or the Reading
Phillies Pink Day! |
| Favorite Food: |
My father-in-law's
snow crab legs. I have yet to find a
restaurant that can rival his! |
| Favorite Vacation Spot: |
Any national park
out west. I think I was a cowgirl in a
former life. |
